NORTH TAMPA HOUSING DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
FROM THE DESK OF LAYLA HARTZ
NTHDC Director and Contract Administrator
Dear Owners, Agents, and Industry Colleagues,
While we continue to recover from the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, our thoughts continue to be with our friends, colleagues, and residents in Southwest Florida.
HUD has established a website containing information and guidance for disaster recover. You can find a link to that website here:https://www.hud.gov/program_offices/housing/mfh/disasterguide
HUD Handbook 4350.1 Chapter 38 provides information as it relates to disaster recover and response protocols as well as a menu of options available to respond and address the needs of affected owners and residents.
If your property has been impacted by Hurricane Ian, please contact your HUD Account Executive to report any physical damage to the property’s interior or exterior as a result of the Hurricane. You can find the Damage Assessment Reports in Appendix A-3 – A-5 of the HUD Handbook 4350.1 Chapter 38.
Please forward your assessment reports to DamageAssessmentsFlorida@HUD.gov
Please know that we are here to help you recover in any way that we can, so don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
