  • Section 8 Contract Opt Out Notification
  • Rent Increase requests/budgets
  • HAP Contract Renewal Requests
  • Tenant inquiries/complaints/ health and safety
  • Monitor REAC Physical Inspection results
  • Management/Occupancy/Fair Housing Review responses
  • Requests about payment of a specific voucher

What activities require shared processing?

  • Processing Contracts Opt-Outs and terminations
  • Approval of MIO Plans for inspections < 60
  • Rent increases over 5% or 2nd level appeals
  • Coordination within HUD branches
  • Management reviews needing enforcement
  • Second-level appeals of reviews or rent adjustments
* As a general rule, anything governed by the Regulatory Agreement, Mortgage, Mortgage Note or Use Agreement, is processed by the local HUD Office.
