HUD Notice 2021-01: COVID 19 Supplemental Payments

 Today HUD posted HUD Notice 2021-01: Continued Availability of Funds for COVID-19 Supplemental Payments for Properties Receiving Project-Based Rental Assistance under the Section 8, Section 202, or Section 811 Programs.  The notice announces a third round of application submissions for owner to apply for funds to offset property expenditures to combat the effects of COVID-19. New in this Housing Notice is the supplemental payments may cover PPE associated with conducting vaccination and testing events and temporary clinics at the property; and vehicle reimbursement for transportation associated with vaccination.

HUD has also provided an updated Tips for Completing HUD Form 52671-E which was also posted to the Multifamily Housing Website.
