Please help HUD further their goal of tenant participation by ensuring that the “Resident Rights and Responsibilities” brochure is given to each Head of Household each year during their Annual recertification.

This brochure is available in thirteen different languages and can be found at http://www.hud.gov/offices/fheo/promotingfh/lep.cfm#Booklets You can also order this brochure free of charge by contacting the Clearinghouse at 1-800-685-8470.

In order to provide easier access to the Resident’s Rights and Responsibilities brochures a link to the English version was placed on the FHEO site along with the other 13 translated editions of the document. Users can go to http://www.hud.gov/offices/fheo/promotingfh/lep.cfm, scroll down to “Resident’s Rights and Responsibilities Brochure.” Those interested in finding the English version on the HUD’s Multifamily website can still find it located at http://www.hud.gov/groups/tenants.cfm Also, please remember that the Department has provided copies of the English document and the translations available from the Multifamily Housing Clearinghouse.
