FY 2017 OCAF and Utility Allowance Factors Published

On Wednesday, October 5, HUD posted the OCAF Factors. The FY 17 Factor for FL and USVI is 1.020 (2%).

On Friday, HUD also published the Utility Allowance Factors.

Please note the factors in red represent a decrease. Keep in mind that owners must provide the PBCA with their own calculation as to demonstrate how they came up with their new UA amounts. If your UA is decreasing, you must provide the PBCA with a copy of your 30 notice of rent increase as well as your Certification as to Compliance with Tenant Comment Procedures. The certification must be dated at least 30 days from the date of your initial posting.
