The tenant has a right to view the information contained in the EIV report, however HUD has not clarified if it would be permissible to give the tenant a copy of the information. HUD is supposed to be issuing clearer guidance regarding this issue. Stay tuned...

In the April 14, 2010 EIV webcast, HUD clarified that it is permissible to give the tenant a copy of his/her EIV reports.
